Our Story
Scott's expertise in the restoration industry dates back to 1998 when he first entered the restoration field with Service Master a national leader in the restoration industry. Gaining this valuable experience in cleaning and restoration techniques, so, In 2001, fueled by a passion for community service, Scott and Wendy established On The Spot Cleaning to specialize in post-disaster property cleaning and persistent odor removal.
From the beginning, community involvement has been central to our mission. We actively participated in local events, including parades, and supported various charities, seeking to make a positive impact beyond our restoration services. As our family and business grew together, our three children also became involved, learning the trade during school breaks and weekends while balancing their academic and extracurricular activities.
Next Generation
In 2021, Scott Jr., our son, ushered in a new era with Maxx Restoration. With a fresh perspective and innovative ideas, Maxx Restoration now offers a broader range of services, including comprehensive construction and property maintenance services, alongside our expertise in water damage repair .
Looking back, we take immense pride in the hundreds of homes we've restored and the lives we've positively impacted over the years. During the devastating floods of 2008, we stood side by side with fellow Iowans, providing essential water damage cleanup services to numerous affected families.
