The Neighborhood Finance Corporation is also known as NFC. This program provides homeowners in Des Moines, IA an opportunity for a forgivable grant that they can use towards remodeling projects at their home. The program does have certain criteria that must be met, but up until recently, the grant was only $10,000, recently they have just increase the grant amount to $15,000 for qualified candidates.
